lose yourself in the lyrics

Courtney, 15 :)

fashion, photography, and music <3

vegetarian, artist, dreamer, me

I posted a few days ago about things that piss me off and I’m just realizing that it would probably be fairer to you guys to just tell you how to get on my good side. Or strategically persuade me to bring you a small penguin from across the Canadian border.

Chocolate. I think this one explains itself.

Referencing Darren Criss. His music, his acting on Glee or with Team Starkid. If you really wanna be my best friend, bring me a picture of him. I might have to adopt you for that.

Glitter. This one’s pretty universal.

Talk to me about Harry Potter or The Hunger Games.

Go shopping with me. Cause a girl can never have too many clothes :)

Compliment me. I’ll probably tell you to stop lying but it’s still nice to hear once in a while.

Act like an idiot with me. Lay in the middle of the road, watch Winnie the Pooh, make cookies in an EasyBake oven. Pretend to be a little kid again.

Actually have a conversation. Like, a real one. About life (if it’s good or bad) or love (if it exists) or fairies or something. A real conversation. We don’t have enough of those.

Show me you care. Buy me roses even though we all know I won’t be able to keep them alive. Stay up with me when I can’t sleep. Let me trust you enough to cry in front of you.

Share an iPod. Be there, whether you’re a friend or a best friend or a boyfriend or a sibling.

Humor me. If I go all OCD on your locker or retie your shoes for you. Don’t laugh, it bothers me :P Just shut up and smile. I like happy people.

Forehead kisses.

Cuddling.

When boys bite their lower lip.

When someone sneaks up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist.

Being in a relationship and still being friends.

Dancing. Like a whore.

Nutella.

Running.

Actually getting a good night’s sleep.
